The Calligrapher Studio Metallic colors are artist paints that can be mixed with water and then used directly with the brush or a feather. They are wonderfully creamy and highly pigmented.

Since 2023, the Metallic colours have been manufactured in Dubai. They are handmade with great love. The main ingredient of the colours are mica pigments and gum arabic, both natural ingredients.

Metallic colors can be used on many surfaces – e.g. paper, wood, stone, plaster – and are suitable for calligraphy, painting, decoration and hobbies. The pigments used in the Metallic colours are very lightfast and therefore do not fade.

Application
For perfect colour results, we recommend adding a few drops of water to the paint and waiting a few minutes for the colour pigments to be dissolved. Then mix well with a brush until a creamy consistency is achieved. The colour can then be used either with the brush or applied to both sides of a feather for calligraphy.
Particularly important to us is that no animal ingredients are used for the production of pearl colours – they are vegan.
